During our time of "Pray Without Ceasing" we had an interactive prayer board where anyone could add their prayers. The prayers that were added can be found below.

Dear Lord What a lovely evening we have had at Penlan church, the fellowship between different churches was wonderful. We have much to thank God for and maybe this time for prayer together will be an inspiration to all the world. We prayed, sang our favourite hymns, drank coffee and tea, made bracelets with different coloured beads representing prayers, meditated and generally thanked our dear Lord. The young people in MAYC have really started something. We hope and pray that this initiative will continue. WHAT A FRIEND WE HAVE IN JESUS.

Let us pray tonight for all people close to death and for their families. Remembering those in Hospices in this country and their carers. I think particularly of R and her family gathered around. Also remembering all those who don\'t have a comfortable safe place with their loved ones in which to spend their last hours. We think of those buried after the earthquake and their families. Finally let us lift to the Lord all those who are dying due to war, its effects, and poverty. Lord we pray for a transformation of our values, so that following the example of Christ we may love the lost, the poor, those who don\'t have justice, the sick. May your Kingdom come and may it start with us. Amen

Heavenly Father, I\'d like to pray for all the people who have been affected by natural disasters this year. It seems to have been one after another. I\'m thinking especially of those who were caught up in the Tsunami and lost their homes, their friends and families and their livelihoods. Those in Africa who have suffered because of the droughts and trade injustice. Those in the USA and Mexico who have been affected by the hurricanes and tropical storms and now, over the last week I have seen these awful scenes in India, Pakistan and Kashmir following another earthquake. I pray for them all Lord, and ask that as each disaster happens, we don\'t get so overtaken by the latest disaster that we forget those who are still suffering as a result of previous ones. Amen.

Let us pray for our sisters and brothers in the Ceredigion and Penarth Circuits, who are \'praying without ceasing\' at this moment; and let us pray for everyone in the Carmarthen & Llanelli Circuit who are preparing to take over the baton of prayer after us.

Gracious God, we pray that many are drawn into your churches in Gower during the Pray Without Ceasing initiative and that through feeling your Spirit close, and witnessing the power of prayer that they will deepen their relationship with you. Amen.

Dear God, we pray for all Methodist Churches in Britain involved with inter faith work. May Methodists and all Christians come to discover that all faiths have a rich heritage which we can share and learn so much from each other. The voices of intolerance are all around us. The voice of tolerance needs to be louder. We pray for the Peace Mala Youth Team as they seek to encourage all to wear the Peace Mala. Every religion has a message of peace, which can be summed up in these words - Treat others as you would like them to treat you. Amen

Loving God, thank you for the Swansea and Gower Circuit\'s enthusiasm in joining in Pray Without Ceasing. I pray that people will sense the presence of your Spirit and that you will continue to inspire your people to show your love in the world. Amen.
