CHURCH FAMILY
We remember in our prayers all our church family and friends or relatives who are unwell or going through difficult times. Please remember to include anyone who you would like us to pray for in the prayer book, which is open throughout the week in the upstairs foyer.
We were saddened to hear of the death of Marilyn Fuller on Friday 7th December and our thoughts and prayers are with her husband Keith, her daughters Wendy and Caroline and all Marilyn’s family. Marilyn’s funeral service will be held at Morriston Crematorium at 11.30 a.m. on Tuesday 18th December. A service of celebration of Marilyn’s life will be held in our church at 2.00 p.m., followed by refreshments in the Victoria Hall. Donations to Cancer Research UK in lieu of flowers may be handed to the Funeral Directors.
Crèche facilities are available on a Sunday morning in Theo’s Coffee Shop.
The communal Christmas card is now on the notice board. Please give your donations for NCH to Veronica Aldridge.
Readers: We need to update the list of people who read in church on Sunday morning and evening. If you are willing to read on a Sunday, please put your name and telephone number on the list, which is on the notice board outside the worship area.
The evening Carol Service on 23rd December will be followed by coffee and mince pies in Theo’s. Donations of mince pies would be much appreciated. Please give your name to Julia Allison.
Barbara Glover has asked that money for church flowers be handed to Natalie in Theo’s, in an envelope with your name clearly marked on the envelope. Barbara will then collect the money from Natalie.
Carol Singing – Saturday 22nd November 11a.m – 1p.m
We will be singing carols on the steps of our church to raise money for NCH and to promote the Carol Service the following evening (23rd). Jenny Davies is playing for us and we will be singing from the NCH Carol Sheet. If you would like to sing please sign the list at the welcome desk. We will also be distributing the More to Life DVD’s. These cost £2 each. If you would like to contribute to this act of witness please see Julia Allison.
The Wednesday lunchtime services will resume on 9th January 2008.

Walking Group
Our New Year walk will be held on Saturday 5th January 2008 in the Rhosilli area. If the weather is so inclement that the walk has to be cancelled, we will still gather for the pre-booked lunch at the North Gower Golf Club.
