Father, please look after the family I saw today. There was so much anger and abusive language being passed from adult to parent. Please make sure someone in the lives of tehse children gives them hugs, tells them they are worthwhile and special and that you love them. Lord change the hearts of their parents, help them to love and cherish their children, to enjoy their chidlren and help them to learn how to enforce discipline with a spirit of gentleness and love. Amen

Dear lord thank you for the challenge of every day. Of meeting & making friends with all who cross our path through our own page in the book of life. Lord I thankyou for all our illness\'s because at least if your ill you look forward to getting better. Dear Lord i know there are some people who become ill & never get better but slip away to join your ever growing heavenly body.For all of this I thank you & pray that your book of life will become well read & that people will gain great comfort from knowing you & all the pain that you suffered & took to protect us all. I\'d like to thank God & the power of prayer for listening to our prayers over the last few months about my father & his amputated foot. Now also my mother has had a new hip operation so the pair of them although creaking in the hinges are just getting their lives back on track although it\'s one day at a time for them both. Hi I had a prayer published with you the other month & I believe through the power of prayer & my dads improving appetite has helped turn his problems arround a fair bit. He now had three amputations & has been left with mostly a heel & a bit of his foot But he\'s off the morphine tablets & most of his other tablets too !! I believe he now has his eyes & mind firmly set on August 2007 & their sixtyth wedding aniversary. God bless you all & long may the power of prayer help heal the sick & suffering amongst mankind. Please pray for my dad Bert Smith in Scunthorpe General Hospital he\'s had his right big toe CHOPPED off & blood poisoning & gangrene have got into the foot he can eat very little & therefore hasn\'t much strength to combat these ailments & also he\'s not strong enough at the moment to face the CORRECTIVE surgery now required to save the rest of his leg. Please for about a month I have been sad, I have reached out to God and I feel like he is there for me but I still have a sadness that will not go away. I think its guilt for what I have done in the past! Please pray that I am healthy and I stay healthy so I can be a better mother and a better lover of God and pray that I will alway be able to take care of my parents when they are sick and old and that I will be alive to see my grandchildren and even my greatgrandchildren! Please pray for Kareem Cruz. He is an 18 year old boy who is fighting for his life right now. He has been unconscious since April 19 and hasn\'t been able to come out of it. Doctors aren\'t giving him much hope and feel that he has brain damage. Jesus is the doctor of doctors and king of kings. Jesus said that by his stripes we are healed. Please also pray for his mother Lina Cruz, who is scared since this is her only child. May the lord comfort, guide, and strengthen her. May she and her son feel his loving and healing presence. In the name of Jesus, I pray.

You have given beautiful, wonderful children to women around me in my neighborhood -women who love and appreciate and even nurture those children. They are single mothers, most of them never married. They ask you for husbands in their lives. For the most part, you have not met their requests.I often wonder if they would be both childless and single, as I am, if they had followed your directive to avoid fornication. And within the Christian community, I see so many women in church who honor you with their bodies, who have no husband and no children. And I am tired of falling into that category. Will I look up in five years, find myself still alone, and begin to regret that I never visited the sperm bank or slept with a man who was not married to me so that I could at least experience pregnancy and motherhood? Can I not get even crumbs from you? Who bothers to pray for us? Certainly not most pastors. They’ll devote tremendous time and resources to opposing gay marriage but they will not spend two seconds praying for heterosexual marriages to occur for those of us still waiting. So I guess those of us who still want it need to look for somebody else other than church leaders to intercede for us. I have prayed to you for years and years, asking you to simply let me be a wife and mother. Your own words said to ask and we would receive, that those who fear you would lack nothing. I have asked. You have not provided. Maybe you will in the future, but as of yet you have not provided. In the bible, we saw that good fathers took the trouble to find good husbands for his daughters. Won\\\'t you care enough to do the same, if not better, for your own daughters? The rest of the world sees what you do - or don\\\'t- provide for us. And too many of us have been without for too long. Why do you do this to us? I feel a sadness when I hug or cuddle a baby I\\\'ve taken care of for the day, knowing that at the end of the day I have to return the baby to his or her parents. It\\\'s good that I got to give the baby\\\'s parents the gift of some time to spend on themselves but it\\\'s heartbreaking to lose that baby at the end of the day. It was fun when I made valentines day cards for my co-workers but it was also very sad knowing that there was nobody who wanted to share the day with me, spending time together and cherishing each other. God I am tired of being left out of these blessings. Not once in my life have I ever had a man give me a rose to celebrate Valentine\\\'s day, or want to spend the day together. I see the older women in church who have been faithful to you, year after year. You have not provided them with husbands. Is that my future too? Why does saying yes to you condemn so many of us to being barren and never married? Please, God, even the world provides more for women than that. I am tired of asking you to meet my needs and finding them still unmet. A decade is long enough, God. I don\\\'t need to hear any more of what you are able to do. I need to see whatever you are going to do to manifest. When a sick or hurting person goes to the doctor, they don\\\'t need the doctor to send the nurse to talk endlessly about what good medicine the doctor has to give. They need the doctor to actually give the medicine. I\\\'ve had more than enough of this single life. Your own word says all power is in your hands. Will you care to use it to change my life? I will certainly have a testimony about whatever you do, or don\\\'t do, in my life. I\\\'d rather it be one that encourages me, and encourages others, and not one which reveals if I\\\'d done the contemporary thing and just slept with somebody instead of yours I would have at least been able to become a mother.

It\\\'s Christmas Eve and my Mum has be sent to hospital for tests for a clot on her lung. Please pray for her, that it turns out to be something much less serious. Please also pray for my Dad who already drinks too much and who will fall to pieces if anything happens to her.
