"Forgiveness is the key that unlocks the door of resentment and the handcuffs of hate. It is the power that breaks the chains of bitterness and the shackles of selfishness "

Dear Friend,

I just had to write to tell you how much I love you and care about you.

I saw you yesterday as you were walking and laughing with your friends. I waited all day, hoping that soon you would ask me to walk along with you too.

As evening drew near, I painted you a sunset to close your day and whispered a cool breeze to refresh you, and I waited patiently. You never called. Oh yes, I was hurt, but I just kept on loving you.

As I watched you fall asleep last night, I longed to reach out and touch you. I spilled moonlight upon your face, trickling down your cheeks as so many tears have. Again I waited, but you didn’t think of me. I wanted so much to rush down to you, so we could talk. I have so many gifts for you.

At dawn, I exploded a brilliant sunrise into the glorious morning for you. But you woke up late and rushed off for the day. You didn't even notice. My sky became cloudy and my tears were the rain. Oh, how I love you.

Now you look so sad and so alone. It makes my heart ache because I understand. My friends let me down and hurt me many times too. Oh, if you would only listen. I really LOVE you. I try to say it in the quiet of the green meadow and in the vibrant blue sky. The quiet wind whispers my love throughout the treetops and spills into the vivid colours of all the flowers. I shout it to you in the thunder of the great waterfalls, in mountain streams, and I compose love songs for the little birds to sing for you.

I warm you with the clothing of my sunshine and perfume the air with nature's sweet scent. My love for you is deeper than any ocean and greater than any need in your heart. If you'd only realize how much I really care. I died, just for you.

We will spend eternity together in Heaven. I know how hard it is on earth. I know because I was once there. I really want to help you.

My Father cares for you and wants to help you too. I want you to meet him.
I have chosen you, so please, call on me soon. Call me, ask me, talk to me. It’s your decision. No matter how long it takes, I‘ll wait, because I love you and I always will.

Your friend,

Jesus

It is easy enough to be pleasant, When life flows by like a song, But the man worth while is the one who can smile, When everything goes dead wrong. For the test of the heart is troubled, And it always comes with the years. And the smiles that is worth the praises of earth Is the smile that shines through tears.
Ella Wheeler Wilcox

Time is ticking by
Rush, Rush, Rush.
In the streets it seems
Push, Push, Push.
Amongst all this craziness
I need to find a way
Of finding time for you God,
Before the end of day.

So I make some special time Lord,
And I give myself to you.
I thank you for so many things
And confess the sins I rue.
I thank you for your endless Love
And pray that others shall know
Your Peace, which you give to us
When we pray and slow, slow, slow.
